Bad Ems
A Hotel Rich in History
For more than 700 years, guests from all over the world have made their way to Bad Ems. Nestled between two scenic forests, the "Taunus" and the "Westerwald", on one of the most beautiful parts of the Lahn River, Bad Ems, rich in history and tradition, is one of the most famous spa destinations in Europe. Well-known personalities, such as the German Emperor "Kaiser" Wilhelm I, the famous Russian author Dostojewski, the composer Jacques Offenbach and Russian Czars with their families, once were regular guests here. Many marvellous baroque buildings with their classicistic architecture are still reflecting the great history of Bad Ems. Some of these spa buildings for example the former "Royal Bathing House of Nassau-Oranien", build in 1711-1715 and todays Haecker´s Spa Resort Hotel have maintained their original outer appearance. As in earlier times people continue to visit the charming town in order to relax and rejuvenate in our hotel owned wellness and spa sources.
